How do we start today with this but I had to update I know been gone but this is the life of a Solopreneur (That's what they call it now lol). So yes with development the main thing you are going to learn about is error with code. Those to me I think are the best teachers when you are learning to code. Especially if you are using any AI code assistant(s).
So one error I ran into [Please comment if you ran into or know a solution] was for my YouTube transcriber I was getting a Bot and Captcha message, for testing and string to fix an error with the code. So I have seen that sites are limiting their API or libraries that can directly download videos and scrape sites.
So yes I went to ai to figure out how to fix and that’s when I ran into and learned about Python. I always know about it I just never thought about learning it yet cause still learning everything else lol. But boi python is a beast.
I didn't initially ask it to do Python, I asked it for an easier solution and it gave me that and javascript. And that is what it gave me, it gave me about 4 pages of code and a simple npx react app. I'm like get out of here….
That is not even just it, when I was able to code it, learn it and see it in deployment in a simple way I was like POOOOFFF… Light Bulb Effect …. Then errors cam again but lol hey that's part of it.
So the code base was Flask, a simple app.py file, react, Assembly Ai for the Ai speech-to-text, FFmpeg, and this yt-dlp:
FFmpeg while primarily a multimedia framework for handling audio and video, FFmpeg includes capabilities for downloading streams from certain websites.
`yt-dlp is a powerful and versatile command-line tool for downloading videos and audio from YouTube and many other video hosting platforms.
Some other ones are: youtube-dl, JDownloader, and Pytube (which ima have to try now). See told you I have learned a lot.
But we did come into another issue. The YouTube captcha showed up aging but in a different way for this app or the interval that was set at downloading the video directly from YouTube. I'm getting on it asap, but did it work locally yes! That's how I got it deployed in the first place, so to say right.
Was I hype though yes! And this is why said the learning curve from school versus now = You better take advantage of it now. I will put the GitHub repository and still looking to grow with team members because of course we are now going to build off the YouTube transcriber and learn more with the speech to text and also WhisperAi from Openai.
At the moment the Omni AI app uses Eleven Labs for voice-to-speech, text to speech, and voice recognition. Was a hard process with APIs. But lets get back to work and if like content like this subscribe, comment, share or join the journey.
